Department of Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga, often referred to as Ayurvedic Obstetrics and Gynaecology, is a branch of Ayurveda dedicated to women's reproductive health. This discipline blends traditional Ayurvedic principles with modern clinical methods to deliver personalised, holistic care for women at every stage of life.
Comprehensive Women's Healthcare
Prasuti Tantra specializes in obstetrics and provides extensive care covering the pre-conceptional, antenatal and postnatal periods. Stree Roga focuses on gynaecological disorders, including menstrual irregularities, infertility, PCOS/PCOD, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, leucorrhoea and various other conditions affecting the female reproductive system.
The department provides comprehensive education as part of the BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) curriculum, offering dedicated theoretical and practical training under the above-mentioned conditions.

The department provides comprehensive education as part of the BAMS curriculum, combining theoretical instruction with practical clinical exposure. Students are provided opportunities to understand Ayurvedic approaches to obstetrics and gynaecology while gaining practical knowledge under appropriate clinical supervision.
