DEPARTMENT OF KAYACHIKITSA

Our Faculty

The Department of Kaya Chikitsa focuses on Ayurvedic internal medicine. It deals with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases affecting the body as a whole, based on the classical principles of balancing Dosha, Dhatu, and Mala.

Students learn the causes and development of diseases, methods of clinical examination, and the use of herbal medicines, diet, and lifestyle measures. Training combines theoretical study with practical clinical observation, helping students plan treatment according to each patient’s constitution and condition.

The department blends traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with modern clinical standards. It aims to develop skilled practitioners who can restore health and support long-term well-being through careful and ethical care.
